Who doesn't love bunting? It exudes jubilation (ok, it can also exude "used car lot" but hopefully this brings out the former!) Here's an easy pattern for a candy corn bunting to scare up your pumpkin, door or mantle.
CANDY CORN (Make 3)
Supplies:
- Small amounts of white, orange, yellow (I used variegated because it's what I had around) cotton (or whatever) yarn.
- Scraps of black yarn for embroidery.
- Same black or fancy yarn for chain. I used Lion Brand Midnight Mohair.
- F Hook, (use whatever sized hook works with your scrap yarn.)
- Tapestry needle.

Using a tapestry needle free-hand embroider letters with back stitch in black. I think they look spookier the more "free-hand" they are worked!

With Black or fancy yarn, ch 40 loosely. With a tapestry needle and black or fancy yarn attach the chain to the tops of the triangles using a whipstich into every other single crochet. I added a little flair by tieing bows between letters.
